Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
